Born and raised as the ninth child in a loving family. A proud native of Batticaloa, the “Singing Fish Capital” of Sri Lanka. Now living in Florida with a loving husband, two precious sons, and a faithful pup. Passionate about Tamil and carrying its timeless beauty forward to the next generation.

Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka; experienced both prosperity and hardships and moved to India. Married to Kuna; lived in Italy before moving to the paradise of Key West, and has two daughters. Working as a teacher, trained Montessorian, holds a Florida Professional Teaching certification and director’s credentials, and extends her passion as a Field Consultant and Coach. Long-term vision is to spread the joy and richness of the Thamil language and culture to the young generation.

Born in Puloly, Vadamardchy District, Sri Lanka. Attended Hartley College, then the University of Ceylon. Served humanity developing projects in 13 countries around the world; learnt and unlearned arrogance in the process. Currently volunteering for the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Deerfield Beach, giving back to the community what was received from them.

Born in Vathiri, Sri Lanka. Moved to New York in 1988, and relocated to Coral Springs, Florida, in 1994. Completed degrees at Florida Atlantic University. Worked as a social worker for more than 20 years and is currently working at Psychiatric Hospital as a mental health therapist. Believes that anything is possible when people work together as a team, and helped establish the Ilankai Thamil Manram Florida. Passionate about uplifting others and drives to spark kindness in every space, fostering unity through thoughtful action.

Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka; began a career as a primary school teacher at Oddisuddan MV.
Moved to the United States in 1991. After marriage, worked for six years at JFK Airport before relocating to South Florida in 2002. Completed 15 years of service with the United States Postal Service (USPS). Currently working with Valve Research. Deeply passionate about Tamil culture and committed to supporting and uplifting Tamil communities.
